Who are we?

Wellcome Wellness Health Tourism and Technology Joint Stock Company (“Wellcome”) is a company based in Turkey.

Your personal data may be processed by Wellcome in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) in the scope and manner detailed below.

This notification explains the reason for Wellcome’s use of information about platform members and visitors (“User”), the types of information we collect, and how we use this information. This Privacy Notice is applicable to all information collected through the Wellcome website (https://thewellcome.com) and mobile site which is owned by Wellcome and all services provided on the site. What data do we collect?

When the user interacts with any platform, Wellcome may collect certain data related to the user. This data is divided into two categories: 1) user data shared by the users themselves, and 2) data or user data collected electronically by us as a result of the user’s interaction with the application or website (collectively referred to as “User Information”).

The following User Information is collected in accordance with applicable laws:

Information shared by the user when registering on the Wellcome website,

Clinical, accommodation, and transportation information regarding the service requested by the user,

Information necessary for the provision of the requested service,

Information shared by the user for the purpose of communication,

User’s IP addresses, connection information, advertising data, page view statistics,

Comments made by the user within the system while using the application or website and information related to opening titles,

Information shared by the user in conversations with Wellcome through WhatsApp, phone number, or other options.

For what purpose do we process your data?

We process User Information in accordance with the fundamental principles stipulated in the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and in compliance with the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

User Information is used for the following purposes:

  1. Managing the application and website,
  2. Providing the service requested by the user,
  3. Enabling the user to receive personalized services,
  4. Informing the user about changes and adjustments made in the service,
  5. Sending emails, messages, or device notifications to the user,
  6. Fulfilling the obligations arising from the contract according to the nature of the service requested by the user,
  7. Assisting in inquiries, complaints, and suggestions,
  8. Sharing information requested by authorized public institutions and organizations.

Whom can we transfer your data to?

Your collected personal data may be transferred by our company, in accordance with the fundamental principles stipulated in the Law and within the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, to the following parties for the purposes listed below:

  1. We may share details related to the provision of services with hospitals and clinics where services are provided, for the purpose of determining service-related details.
  2. We may share information with hotels where accommodation will take place for the purpose of providing accommodation services.
  3. We may share data with transfer companies for the purpose of providing transfer services.
  4. We may share data with our business partners who assist in the optimization and improvement of the application and website.
  5. We may share data with the telesecretary company with which we work for the purpose of conducting communication processes with you.
  6. We may share data with insurance companies for the purpose of conducting insurance transactions.
  7. We may share data with authorized public institutions and organizations to comply with any legal obligations or to enforce or apply our terms.

Why do we collect your data and on what legal grounds?

Your personal data will be collected by Wellcome through the website and mobile application in electronic format for the purposes listed above. The collected personal data may be processed and transferred for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy within the scope of the personal data processing conditions stipulated in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

How do we ensure the security of your data?

In accordance with Article 12 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), data controllers must ensure the level of security by taking necessary technical and administrative measures. Wellcome informs its employees through the publication of necessary policies and procedures. Additionally, technical measures have been taken in environments containing personal data. How do we protect children?

Wellcome aims to protect the personal data of children along with adults. Our website and application are not intended for children under the age of 13 (or other ages as required by laws). Currently, our website and application do not accept memberships from individuals under the age of 18. Therefore, we do not access any data other than the IP address, device ID, and MAC address based on the device used by children.

If you are a parent or guardian and wish to request the deletion or correction of personal data collected from your child, you can contact us as described in the policy. If we become aware that personal data of a child has been shared with Wellcome in violation of the situations mentioned above, the collected personal data will be destroyed unless we are legally obligated to retain it.

As the personal data owner, you have the rights specified in Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), which are as follows:

  1. The right to learn whether personal data is being processed,
  2. The right to request information if personal data has been processed,
  3. The right to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
  4. The right to know third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
  5. The right to request the correction of personal data in case they are incomplete or inaccurate,
  6. The right to request the deletion or destruction of personal data,
